Crockpot Chicken Parmesan Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes

Hopefully, new folks will become subscribers too. Today we’re going to make one of my wife’s favorite dishes chicken parmesan, but we’re going to do it in the slow cooker. It’s a little different because typically you big chicken. First then, you do your sauce in your cheese today we’re going to do it all in one. So let’s get started with some chicken breasts.

Crockpot Chicken Parmesan Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes

What I have here is I’ve cut these chicken breasts in half and patted them dry, which is why the light on that this is it one egg, maybe a tablespoon of milk, some Italian seasoning I’m using this brand, but use whatever Italian

seasoning. You won’t literally a pinch of black pepper and a pinch of my go-to kosher salt. All we have to do is let that get in there and while that’s soaking up we’re going to make our coating same seasoning with a tablespoon pinch

of salt pinch of pepper and 1 cup of breadcrumbs.

 

 

These are not flavor, correct, clumps! You are welcome to use the Italian one cup of grated Parmesan cheese, we’re mixing that up. This is where this gets its

name. This is what parmesan comes in there’s an additional layer of cheese that goes on the chicken pie once that is nicely coated. This is going to be more than we’ll need, okay, I’ll let this drain off and then straight in. I always do make sure that we get it coated, pick it up and make sure they’re both sides and all we have to do.

Take that lay it right. In the bottom, rinse and repeat, we’ll come back we’ll top this up. Our chicken breasts are all breaded with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture and I’ve laid them across the bottom of two chicken breasts cut in half. This is 28 ounces of crushed peeled tomatoes right on top all right, so we’ve got our can of tomatoes. You can use store-bought Tomatoes up too if you prefer.

This is the same thing, my Italian

seasoning, 1 tablespoon, and I’m just getting it so that we get a nice consistent flavor throughout the sauce. If you like yours, saucier, feel free to add more sauce. We tend to like ours with just explaining my sauce lid on cook on low for 5 6 out of 6 hours. I’m going to will do 5 today and then

we’ll come back, we’ll put the cheese on cooking for another 2min, so we’ll be back inside 5 hours later, let’s take Pete, so I’m just goofing and she looks like it’s definitely done and I want to disturb it Too much because our final stages here this is fresh mozzarella, I’m just going to lay a couple of pieces on.

Well, you can some good melt on there and knowing that there is another piece of goes in there like that ten, more minutes on low, and this would be ready to go. What I’m going to do in the meantime. I’m going to go ahead and make pasta to service on top, oh, and when we come back ten minutes it will be back. As you can see, the mozzarella has melted. I have some spaghetti already on the plate down in here and get one of these chicken breasts out.

It’s awesome I’ll just lay that, on top of our spaghetti now my family likes garlic, bread, so a piece of the collar crack, and then you have very easy low-maintenance, but quite tasty chicken parmesan with the spaghetti.
