What Is The Best Pan For Cooking Frittata

Frittata is a very heartwarming dish. It can be served at almost any time of the day, and it can be served hot or even cold. Everybody loves Frittata; even kids love them too! Actually, cooking Frittata for the little ones is a great way to infuse masked veggies, so the picky eaters will not even notice that they are feeding on a very nutritious meal without the hassle for moms.

However, cooking Frittata can be a challenge, especially if you are using the wrong pan. You will end up burning your eggs while leaving the center of the Frittata uncooked.

By the way, some people do not know the difference between a Frittata and an omelet. Let me explain it here – Frittata and Omelets may have the same ingredients; beaten eggs and the inside can be anything that you want! Cheese, onions, mushrooms, ham, herbs, veggies, chicken, you name it, you can use it! It is like making a sandwich, where you can choose anything you want for the contents. However, the difference between the two, is that the omelet is folded, allowing you to flip one side, so you can cook the other side easily. A frittata is different. It stays flat (just like a pancake), which makes it a bit harder to cook, especially the middle, because flipping it can destroy the beautiful form of your Frittata.

To make sure of a nicely formed Frittata, you have to get a Frittata pan. Yes, you read it right! There is such thing as a Frittata pan, which you can also use for frying delicate meat, cooking pancakes, and so much more!

A Frittata pan basically has two pans, which you can flip, so the other side will touch the flame for easier cooking. That way, you do not have to flip your Frittata anymore and be able to cook it easily without the hassle of flipping it manually.

As you can see, Frittata pans can also be used to fry steak, so you do not have to flip it anymore after 5 minutes of frying on one side, or you can also use it for pancakes, and be sure of perfectly cooked pancakes in just a few minutes.

To cook the Frittata, you will have to oil both sides of the pan. This will prevent your Frittata from sticking, especially when you are dealing with cheese and milk, which can easily stick to the bottom part of the pan. Anyway, you can also buy Frittata pans that have a non-stick feature. This will add more to your convenience. You can also buy this type of pan in several sizes, so you can cook enough Frittata for the entire family.

Frittata pans are quite handy inside the kitchen because you can use them in so many ways. This will prevent burns, manual flipping of food, and damaging the beauty of your food, which will surely affect the plating. Remember, even if your food or meals tastes good, your presentation will always matter.
