I absolutely love sharing these types of articles, so I really hope you enjoy this one. So i’m starting off with a sausage casserole and i’m going to add some water to a jug and pop in this mix. First, then, i’m going to add in some chopped up onions and some chopped up carrots, then i’m adding in 10 sausages. These are just some pork sausages.
I got from tesco, I think, they’re, the extra special ones, then i’m adding in some chopped up mushrooms as well just giving everything a little mix together, making sure it’s all coated and then i’m going to also add some kitchen rolls. The top of the lid, because this just helps get rid of any of the condensation, because lots of water can get into the slow cooker and slow cooker meals are already quite watery anyway, I find so.
This helps massively i’m also going to add in some gravy granules this just thickens up the sauce a little bit more and turns it more into gravy like sauce, which is what we prefer we’re going to serve this with some mashed potato. But this is definitely one of our favorite meals. It’s so quick and easy taste it and definitely perfect for this time of year. Reading these back now is just making my mouth water.

I just want to eat it all over again. If you can see in a minute there’s some deers in the field outside our house, it was so lovely. There was a baby one and a mummy one, i’m guessing. Moving on to the next meal, i’m doing a beef stew. This is definitely another favorite of ours. I’r adding some carrots and some onions and some red onion chutney to the slow cooker, i’m just adding in a tablespoon of that and mixing everything together and then going to add in my diced beef.
This is such a gorgeous hearty meal, and i’ve probably shared it before in a slow cooker article. If you are enjoying this content once i’ve added in my beef stock, i’m then going to pop my lid on and turn it onto high again for another four hours.
Then, when I came back to it, I then added in some gravy granules again. I always do this when it’s this kind of meal, just because it thickens it up so much and just makes it super tasty and then also going to make some dumplings. This is actually my first ever time making them and they turned out so good, and especially with this meal, they were so easy to do as well, and it was just delicious. The boys really loved it.

The last meal i’ve got to show you today is a veggie chili, so I am chopping up some butternut squash here and adding that first thing to my slow cooker. Then i’m adding in some diced onions, some red kidney beans, some red peppers, some sweet corn, some butter beans, then a big dollop of tomato puree, some garlic, some paprika, some chili powder and then a big tin of chopped tomatoes. I’r also going to season with some salt and pepper and then i’m adding in some chicken stock as well.
I’ve never actually made this before, but it’s such a lovely colorful meal. Again, especially for this time of year. It was just a really nice hearty meal, and it was nice to just have something with veggies. I’ve been really enjoying having them at the minute. Instead of having like meaty food, i’ve been really enjoying having lots of like warm vegetables, especially the butternut squash. It’s absolutely delicious in anything like this, so we served it with some rice and some chips as well, because I wasn’t sure how the boys were going to take to so much vegetables, but they did enjoy it.
