Back to my kitchen, it’s been a while, since i’ve had up a what’s for dinner article like a month – and I know you guys request this a lot and I promise I would have a few out in october and I definitely am going to i’m super excited About today’s, what’s for dinner, this what’s for dinner is going to include five recipes.
I’r going to have two slow cooker chicken recipes, i’m going to also have a slow cooker dessert, i’m going to have a slow cooker steak recipe and then i’m just going to have it easy, like 20 minute meal on top of the stove. So all kinds of things in today’s article don’t forget to subscribe. If you are new here, because I will have tons more cozy, comfy comfort foods coming in the future, lots of crock pot meals.

So, let’s jump right into the article and see what we’re making this week all right so tonight for dinner, we are having white chicken chili. This is actually called easy: crock pot, cream, cheese, chicken chili, i’m sure most of you have already had this recipe before but fun fact.
I have not so we’re going to try for the first time today. I think most people just call this white chicken chili. So for this recipe you’re going to need one can of black beans, one can of whole kernel: corn undrained, one can of rotel tomatoes undrained one package of ranch dressing mix. I just have the great value brand, but you can buy any brand. You want and then one teaspoon of cumin, one tablespoon of chili powder and then you’re going to also need a teaspoon of onion powder, two chicken breasts and one eight ounce block of cream cheese.
Okay. So let’s get started, and this is going to cook on low for six to eight hours. So the first thing you are going to do when you get started on this recipe, is you are going to drain your black beans and then you are going to want to rinse them out before you put them into the crock pot once you are done doing That you can go ahead and add your chicken into the crock pot or slow cooker. Whatever you want to call it, I go back and forth, so you may hear me call it different things in this article, then you’re going to add your one can of corn undrained and then you’re going to add your can of rotel, also undrained, and then you Can go ahead and take your black beans and pour them over top of that you’re.
Also going to add in your cumin you’re, going to add in your chili powder and then you’re going to add in your onion powder after that you’re going to add in your entire packet of ranch. And then I like to kind of mix up the mixture that way it’s covering the chicken equally before I add on my cream cheese and then i’ll go ahead and add my cream cheese right on top and then once I do that, i’m going to put my Crock pot on low for six to eight hours and let it cook now I did go ahead and also buy some tortilla strips to add.
On top I heard that was really good. With this recipe, I did go ahead and check on it halfway through and kind of spread out the cream cheese as it’s melted, but right here you’ll see it’s done, i’m just going to break apart the chicken a little bit more and then you will have your White chicken chili cream cheese soup, this chili was so delicious, both of my girls loved it and alex loved it too. So this was definitely a big win in my house.
So before we get started on the next recipe, I wanted to ask you to subscribe. I just grabbed a bunch of stuff in the pantry and decided to make crock-pot s’mores.
I do not have an ending to this article because it got done super late at night, but you’re just going to go in and spray your crock pot with some non-stick cooking spray, and then all you have to do is get some graham crackers, chocolate chips and Some marshmallows you’re going to want to smash up your graham crackers, first kind of like ansley’s doing right here, and then you are going to pour them in and kind of spread them all over.
The bottom of the crock pot once you’ve done, that you can go in and add your chocolate chips. Ansly was being such a good helper on this night and then, after that, you are going to go in and add your marshmallows. You probably need to cook this. On a low for about two two and a half hours, it really depends on your crock pot. For us, it did not even get done before the girls had to go to bed, so that was kind of disappointing, but they did get to have some the next morning.
So definitely keep that in mind. It does take a little bit of time to cook, but that’s literally all you do you put the top on it. Let it cook on low for a little bit and you’ll be good to go perfect for dessert and super easy okay. So tonight for dinner, I am just whipping up something completely random. I got these tortilla shells and this cooked shrimp, so this should be easy to just kind of get heated and done, and then we have some mexican for cheese, shredded cheese and probably we’ll need some vegetable oil also, I may add some of this.
On top, it just depends i’m kind of excited about that. That’s from sam’s club and then i’m going to use this chipotle sauce from taco bell. This is like love, hate relationship with everybody. You either love it or you hate it. So i’m going to use that inside of the shrimp quesadillas and then I have just a few. Only a few of these jalapeno peppers left so i’ll, probably end up saving those for alex and i’ll put a couple of regular peppers in mine.
I do have orange red and green, so that’s probably what we will do I like to heat these in the microwave for a few seconds before I start and then I will go ahead and add some chipotle sauce and spread it out and if you have kids, I would say to maybe use a different sauce, because this is a little bit spicy. Then i’m going to come in and add the cooked shrimp to each of these, and they really just need to be heated up and then i’m going to add the cheese.
And then maybe when i’m done i’ll, add a little bit of the white cheese on top. But I know i’m going to add some jalapenos for alex and for myself, some red and green bell peppers. This is the hard part when you’re scared to flip them over because, like you think, oh well, maybe it won’t flip for me, so I got it flipped over not perfectly, but it looks absolutely delicious on the inside. Look how good that looks now.
I just need to flip the other one, the other one’s already ready to go, so we’re going to start flipping these quick now and there you have it simple and easy shrimp, quesadillas and I did add some white queso on top okay. So today for our. What’s for dinner, i’m getting started kind of late, as you can see it’s 5 20 in the afternoon, and this is actually a crock pot meal you’re supposed to cook it on high for like six hours, but i’m going to cook it on or you’re supposed to Cook it on low for like six dollars, but i’m going to cook it on high for three hours: it’ll be ready about 8 30.
. It’s big brother or not so we’ll be okay. The girls don’t have school tomorrow, but we are making crock pot steak fajitas and the only thing you’re going to need for this recipe is beef: broth, a green pepper, a red pepper, some marinara sauce, and I eyeball everything in this recipe. You’re going to need some fajita seasoning mix, and I just use these eye round thin little steaks, and when this gets done, you can put it on tortillas.
You can use it with chips, you can serve it over rice or, however, you want to do it, but this is all you need super simple, so i’m going to show you how to make it so i’m going to go ahead and cut my crock pot on High and set it for three and a half hours i’m going to pour in this marinara sauce just to cover the bottom of the crock pot. So just enough to do that, that’s all I want to add so probably about half a jar of marinara sauce.
Then i’m going to take a little spoon. I wish I had a better spoon, just kind of spread it out evenly over the bottom. Put it on my gobble rester, and then we are going to add in the steaks. Do okay, so we have our peppers. All cut up so we’re going to go ahead and put those in the crock pot, and now we are going to add our fajita seasoning mix and our beef broth put the top on it and wait for it to cook.
So we got 26 minutes left already stirred it up a little bit. So hopefully the steak will kind of fall apart like it’s supposed to. If it doesn’t, I will have to cook it a little bit longer or just see what I can do, but I checked it earlier and it felt kind of hard so we’ll see what happens. Okay, so here’s kind of what it looks like after it’s done and kind of chopped up a little bit. This is alex’s lunch tomorrow for work.
I did not show it like, as I was chopping it up. My camera battery actually died, so I just wanted to show y’all kind of what it looks like so yummy and delicious, and it tastes really good and then alex is just going to take a couple of these to work to you know, eat this one, but then I’ll try to find him something else to go in here as a side, so yeah, that’s how it turned out and you can use any kind of steaks you want.
I would probably go with a different one. These are a little bit more thin than I expected them to be once they were cooked, so yeah I would go with a thicker cut steak, but other than that they were delicious. Okay. So for today’s recipe we are having crock pot, chicken and stuffing the first thing you’re going to need for this recipe is about a pound and a half of chicken. So I have three chicken breasts in my crock pot and i’ve already sprayed it so definitely make sure you put some non-cooking spray in the bottom of your crock pot, but you’re also going to need a box of stuffing mix some chicken broth cream of celery cream Of chicken a little bit of mozzarella, cheese and some butter, so let’s go ahead and get started.
So the first thing you’re going to do after you put your chicken in, is go ahead and add your half of cup of mozzarella cheese and then you’re going to take your can of cream of celery and cream of chicken soup and pour them both in the Same bowl and mix them up really well, then you’re going to go ahead and pour that mixture over top of your chicken and your cheese and try to pour it and make it even and then, after that, you will be adding in your stuffing mix.
I like to use cornbread stuffing mix, so i’m going to pour that on top of my mixture as well, and i’m going to try to even it out as much as possible after that you’re going to take one cup of chicken broth and a half of stick Of butter and you’re going to melt those together and you’re going to pour it over top of your mixture in the crock pot, and then that is all you have to do. It’s ready to cook.

I started mine on high and I started late in the day. That’s why i’m going to cook it on high for four hours, but you can usually cook this on low for six to eight hours and then this is how it turns out. In the end, it looks so delicious. This is one of my favorite meals of all time to make in the crock pot. It reminds me so much of thanksgiving and anytime. I can have some thanksgiving early, i’m all for it.
I did make some rice and gravy with this meal as well, and that is about it. It was so delicious. The girls loved it alex loved it and here is my plate and I think the girls had some like green beans added on, but I don’t like green beans, so I didn’t have any of those, but it was still super delicious all right.
