How to Make Barbacoa | Easy Crock Pot Recipe

By Cooking with Lillian

So in case, you guys don’t learn how I make it just stick to it and I’ll show you how already it’s a lip get started with our ingredients. So for this recipe, you’re going to need four pounds of chuck Patrol’s cut and set your room temperature to serum, made we’re going to need some salt and some vegetable, oil or olive oil for our double stones.

We’re going to need five chili Chipola, one cup of chicken broth; 1/2, a cup of vinegar, lime juice from three points: one whole white onion four bay leaves 5 garlic, cloves three teaspoons of ground; cumin 2 teaspoons of oregano 1 teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of black Pepper and a half a teaspoon of ground cloves, so these are our ingredients. Now, let’s get started. I guess the first thing we’re going to do: install our meat so generously and each side of your meat make sure you add some salt real life.

I will be using my hand I’m going to try to come time. You need a baby, all right so much. We have our meat all salted we’re going to get we’re going to move on to our stove okay. So here I’m going to set my griddle on medium-high heat, I’m going to go into a lot to get hot enough, so we can add our oil and then we’re going to sear a meat for three minutes. Each side do not, once you have your your meat on the grid or do not move it.

You know just allow it to sear for those three minutes, I’m just going to add some oil okay. So once it’s hot we’re going to add our meat so for three minutes we’re going to arrest here all three minutes out, sir chancellors. All sites of your means are beams here and we’re going to place them on our shop and we’re going to do the same. To the rest of our needs, okay, so when we’re done with our maid we’re going to start working on our sauce, I’m going to add my garlic, clove and all over my spices, my cumin oregano ground, cloves, salt and pepper into our blender, we’re going to honor.

She liked to call it our lime, juice and our vinegar, so we’re going to blend that all together, we are a double sauce: okay, so long as we ourselves we’re going to add it into our meat, now we’re just going to pour our sauce all over our Meat mix it around make sure all your meat has some sauce. Okay. Now what I like to do is add my chicken broth in my blender tool so like that I can get all my my leftover clean, your your blender with the start with the drop just like that, and now we’re just going to add it in on Nick Voila, so we’re just going to make sure my meat is covered and it’s okay, if it’s not because it’s going to cook all together anyway.

So now we’re going to add our bay leaf and I white onion just cut it in half and you just throw it in the mix. Okay, so close your cut pot and set it on high heat and now we’re just going to let it cook in there for about four hours. It all depends on your crock-pot as well for me four hours to four hours and a half, it’s perfectly fine, so it all depends on crop. Ah, so four hours, you guys we’ll be right back okay, so it’s been four hours.

So by now I army should be done, I’m just going to open it. Oh and let me tell you that the house smells delicious, and this is what I read. What color should look like and, as you can tell you see the me how its falling apart? Pretty easy, so that’s how you know your meat is done so now, what I’m going to do, I’m just going to take it out of the crock pot and start placing it in a different. You know plate so like that I can let it cool down a little bit and then start shredding it, and I’m just going to separate, like all my bay leaves in the onion, I’m going to separate in a different plate.

You know, because we don’t need that. No more so like that one’s mine eat, it’s all shredded, I’m going to return it back into our juice and that’s basically, you guys super easy super delicious and, oh, my goodness, I just can’t so I’m just going to take it all out and then start shredding. It and then we can get I’ll get back to you, guys bring it. So I returned the mean back in the crock-pot and it’s already all shredded and it’s ready to be served.

You can serve it like that. You guys or make it into tacos burritos or you know bowls anything and super delicious already guys look here. I serve them as tacos, because we love tacos. But to be honest, you guys you guys can serve them just by themselves in the meat. It’s super delicious super tender super flavorful here I have cilantro salsa avocado and it’s just super delicious and now for the best.
